Girl's Corner Brings Dropout Back to School

The girl in white head scarf Aisha, 12 years old is in standard 4 learns at Changausya primary school. She dropped out of in October 2022 after getting married to a 17years old boy within her village. The news of her drop out was reported by her friends at the girls’ corner, a forum for girls to support each other in life skills that NACC introduced. The forums which are school based are supervised by matrons who are female teachers.

Meet Joseph Chiutula, a person living with HIV who has been on Antiretroviral drugs(ARVs) for 32 years and is not ashamed to share his story! Born in 1952, Chiutula tested HIV positive in 1992 following a series of chronic sickness. Just like most people, Chiutula could not believe the results and lived in denial.
